WHAT IS SHARE FACTS SAVE LIVES?

Share Facts Save Lives aims to provide a central platform for reliable, current substance use disorder information and resources focused on distributing harm reduction facts, prevention methods, treatment resources, recovery support, and ending stigma. The foundation of Share Facts Save Lives is the belief that through education comes an end to stigma and a path towards recovery.

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?

Lower the mortality and the morbidity rate of substance use disorder.

Improve the public’s understanding regarding naloxone, the Good Samaritan Law, and the benefits of medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Encourage the youth in our community to make healthy choices by empowering them.

Connect families, caretakers, and the public with resources through 2-1-1 and OPTIONS.

Spread info about substance use disorder and the signs and symptoms.

Provide education and guidance on the different paths to recovery.

Share stories to reduce the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.
